| Who Provides my Benidorm Transfer? Bookings are made directly with major Transfer booking agents. Transfers are provided by well known local Benidorm companies with over 20 years experience providing passenger transfers to Hotels and Apartments in the area. They are all legal, Insured and licenced to carry passengers. All bookings via this website are made directly with one of the top five providers of holiday transport. Companies used differ according to which online booking company you choose. Once booked you will receive detailed instructions by email from your provider. All are safe and secure to book with and offer reliable services. Always check their FAQ as each companies conditions of carriage are different. We do not book transfers ourselves we act as an introducer only. The transfer desks at Alicante Airport are located in Terminal 1 arrivals hall (lower ground floor) Most passengers arrive at Terminal 1. This information will be on your voucher which you will receive around 10 minutes after you book and your payment is successful. See map and photos. If you have booked a private taxi or mini-bus the driver will be waiting with a sign with your name or the name of the company providing your transfer. Details of this will be on your confirmation voucher. Some companies may request you to go to the transfer desks in arrivals - please check meeting instructions carefully once received. If in doubt go to the transfer desks in Terminal 1 arrivals. What happens if I can't find the driver? In the unlikely event that you cannot locate your driver. Call the emergency telephone number on your accommodation voucher. They will resolve any problems quickly. Please remember however that unless you book a private taxi you need to go to the transfer desks in the arrivals hall to locate your representative. IMPORTANT Re-Confirming You Return Transfer Pick-up times from the resort to Alicante Airport DEPENDING ON THE ROUTE AND COMPANY YOU CHOOSE YOU WILL HAVE TO CONFIRM YOUR RETURN PICK UP TIME FROM RESORT TO AIRPORT EITHER BY TELEPHONE OR ONLINE* *NOT ALL OPERATORS OFFER ONLINE RE-CONFIRMATION IT DEPENDS ON THE COMPANY & TYPE OF TRANSFER In Common with all companies your shared Transfer provider requires that you reconfirm your return journey from the resort to the airport. Details of how to do this are provided on your confirmation voucher (please ask your representative when you arrive at Alicante airport if you have any questions about this). This is necessary as exact pick-up times will not be known until 24/30 hours before. This is due to possible local road works, events, and number of hotels other passengers are to be collected from. At this time you will be given the meeting point and time to wait for your return vehicle. There is an emergency telephone number on your voucher in the unlikely event that your driver has not arrived within 20 minutes of the agreed time. They can be a little later than agreed if traffic is heavy. To help prevent delays please be waiting outside with your luggage ready to board. Note: Passengers not waiting ready to board with their luggage are the biggest cause of delays for other passengers on shared shuttle coaches. Will I be Dropped off at and collected from my Hotel / Apartment? Transfer providers will drop you as near as is possible to your Holiday Hotel but you my be required to walk a short distance should the road be unsuitable for the vehicle. Benidorm old town also has restrictions in place and some pedestrian areas which may require a short walk to your Hotel. Local road works and events may also affect the drop off or pick up point. How Long does it take to transfer to Benidorm from Alicante airport? Once you leave Alicante airport driving time is 45 minutes for private taxis. However for shared shuttles you may have to wait for other passengers before setting off and the actual journey time depends on the number of other drop off points, amount of traffic and time of day. Average time from airport to hotel is 80 minutes on shared shuttles. This can vary during peak season and may be slightly longer or shorter. What if my flight is delayed? If you are to be delayed arriving for several hours telephone the emergency number on your confirmation voucher to let the company know that you will be delayed, so that they can do their best to accommodate you. Very long delays may mean a wait of several hours until the next available shuttle, if you have booked a shared transfer. Delays on return journeys do not affect pick up times you will be dropped at the airport for the original flight departure time. The driver / transfer agent will have your flight details and will check the flight time before you arrive and wait accordingly for delays. For very long delays of several hours late at night it may not be possible for your transfer company to wait and you may have to make your own way to the resort. Please check the terms and conditions of the company you book with to ascertain their conditions regarding delays. Whilst all companies will try to accommodate you, delays are out of their control and none will accept any responsibility should you miss a shared transfer due to long delays arriving late at night. Day time delays arriving between 8am and 9pm are less of a problem as they will put you on the next shared coach that has seats available. What kind of vehicle will it be? It will probably be a shuttle coach. You may also be sharing the transfer with other passengers stopping off at other hotels or resorts. If you have booked a private transfer this will be for your sole use and will be a taxi or mini-bus according to the size of your party. Only Taxis drop off to private addresses. Terms and Conditions We (Real Benidorm) acts as an introducer only on behalf of transfer providers. We do not book transfers ourselves, you will be redirected to one of our travel partner websites, your contract and exact terms of purchase will be detailed on their website. Payment and your booking is made direct through our travel partners websites. Your Contract is with the Transfer provider. When you book transfers via the Internet, your booking is confirmed quickly by email and it is at this time a binding contract comes into existence. Email confirmation of your booking will be sent to you and a voucher will follow with details of you local transfer provider once full payment has been confirmed (usually within 15 minutes). Once the contract is made, it is the transfer providers responsibility to provide you with what you have booked as detailed on your confirmation voucher. All relevant documentation will be sent to you via email, it is important to check carefully all the details of your booking once you receive it. Neither we nor our travel partners will be responsible for any information you do not receive, as a result of your failure to provide a valid e-mail address. All correspondence concerning any booking should be directed to the company stated on your confirmation voucher and not us. |
