WHERE DO TRANSFERS DEPART FROM AT ALICANTE AIRPORT?
You will find the check-in desks and departure point for all SHARED TRANSFERS at level -2 just below the arrivals hall, accessed by lift or escalator. See Transfer Departure Point.
CAN I BOOK LAST MINUTE TRANSFERS? YES UP TO 24 HOURS BEFORE FLIGHT ARRIVALS
Other transfer providers require a minimum of 48/72 hours notice to make an online booking. This is due to the logistics required to arrange passenger pick-ups and ensure drivers and vehicles are where they need to be. We recommend that you book well in advance before arrival whenever possible.
I AM ARRIVING TODAY - WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS TO GET TO BENIDORM? EXPRESS (ALSA) BUS!
If you are arriving or departing today there are up to 18 daily nonstop ALSA buses between Alicante airport and the center of Benidom (Avenida Europa Levante). You can BUY AN AIRPORT BUS TICKET even for travel today, or pay cash to the driver! The last bus to Benidorm departs the airport at 23:00 daily. We recommed pre-booking a seat online for this busy route.
BABY SEATS / INFANT SEATS / BOOSTER SEATS / CHILD RESTRAINTS:
Due to the large number of diferent systems, suppliers do not carry all types for all children/babies/infants. We recommend you bring your own baby or booster seats or child restraint system for children, babies or infants. You will be expected to fit these to the seat yourself. Some suppliers offer baby/child seats as an extra when booking (not booster seats). Certain types of transfers such as large coaches and larger minibuses cannot fit baby/infant/booster seats. CHILDREN IN VEHICLES: THE LAW IN SPAIN (vehicles up to 9 seats)
Infants and children travelling in a vehicle that has a maximum passenger capacity of up to 9 seats (8 passengers + driver), MUST, by law, travel in an infant/baby/child seat/restraining system, in a rear seat. Any failure on behalf of the passengers to comply with this law will mean the driver MUST refuse travel. HOW DO I MEET THE DRIVER OR FIND MY COACH?
If you have booked a private taxi or private mini-bus the driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall, with a sign with your name or the name of the company providing your transfer. Details of this will be on your confirmation voucher. Some companies may request you to go to the shuttle transfer desks below arrivals. Please check meeting instructions carefully once received as these may differ with each supplier.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANNOT FIND MY DRIVER?
In the unlikely event that you cannot locate your driver. Call the 24/7 emergency telephone number provided in your confirmation Email/voucher. They will resolve any problems quickly. You will also find representatives of all companies we partner with at level -2 below arrivals.
HOW LONG DOES A SHARED TRANSFER TAKE?
You may have to wait at the airport or when you are picked up as shared shuttles run to a regular schedule. You may also have to wait for other passengers on the same and other flights to collect their luggage and make their way to the transfer departure area. This is usually about 30 minutes, but may be up to one hour depending on delays of incoming aircraft and baggage collection.
Once you depart the airport the average journey time to Benidorm is 55 minutes, Albir 65 minutes and Altea 75 minutes. Depending on the type of shuttle (economy or express) and time of day there may also be several drop-off points in resort before reaching your hotel. Average time from boarding to arriving at your hotel is 90 minutes. We recommend the EXPRESS SHUTTLE.
HOW DO I CONFRM MY RETURN PICK_UP TIME BACK TO THE AIRPORT?
If you have booked a shared transfer the details of how to confirm your pick-up time in resort will be detailed on your voucher received by Email when you made the booking. Please read these carefully.
Some companies require you to confirm online 24 hours before departure, some will send a text to your mobile phone number or Email with the place and time of pick-up. There are also always 24/7 English speaking customer service numbers. Pick-up locations for shared transfers are usually from pre-defined location near you hotel, you may need to walk a short distance.
IS THERE A REGULAR BENIDORM AIRPORT BUS?
Yes, non-stop Benidorm airport bus services run up to 15 times daily, you can buy a ticket online.
We act as an introducer only for several differrent UK transport agents and local suppliers here in Spain. We do not handle any payments or booking systems ourselves, therefore refund policies will depend on the conditions of each supplier. Please check their terms & conditions at the time of booking. Most suppliers do not offer refunds for transfers less than 48 hours before travel as they will have already committed to the supply of vehicles and arranged drivers. BENICONNECT: You can cancel your entire booking by contacting their reservations department. Transfer service cancellations received with more than 48 hours notice are refunded in full, less than 48 hours a charge applies. No refund is paid for cancellations received less than 24 hours before the transfer time.
HOPPA: Cancellations must be made by using their website or app. You may be entitled to a refund, depending on when you cancel your booking. Cancellation charges vary by each local supplier, please refer to the terms and conditions and the specific cancellation policy of the supplier booked at the time of booking. If your booking is cancelled less than 48 hours before travel you will be liable for the full value of the booking.
HOLIDAY TAXIS: You may cancel your booking at any time in writing by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellation charges may apply. Supplier cancellation policy can be found in the 'Terms and Conditions' section of our website. Please note: It is possible to login and amend or cancel your booking online. If cancelled online more than 48 hours before booked outbound transfer date and time, there will be a £10.00 administration charge. If you cancle 48 hours or less before arrival no refunds are possible.
SHUTTLE DIRECT: More than 48 hours before travel you can cancel by accessing your booking on line in the "My Booking" section of their website where you can modify and cancel your booking. Refunds usually takes two or three working days.
ALICANTE PRIVATE TRANSFERS: If you cancel your booking up to one month before departure, they make a small nominal administration fee, and refund the rest of your money via PayPal. Cancellations received up to 7 days before arrival 30 Euros / 25 GBP per booking. Cancellations received up to 48 hours before arrival 50% of booking. Cancellations received within 48 hours of arrival 100% of booking.
OMIO (ALSA AIRPORT BUS TICKETS): Semi refundable up to 2 hours before departure . Ticket is only valid for the selected bus, if you cannot make it, cancel and rebook. Ticket can be cancelled or amended for free up to 48hrs before departure, for a 20% fee up to 24hrs before departure and a 30% fee up to 2hrs before departure. Ticket cannot be modified or canceled less than 2hrs before departure.
